Obituary for Patricia Dianne Barwick

Patricia Dianne Barwick, born January 7, 1952, in Logan, Utah, to James Thomas and Emma Bowyer Barwick, passed away peacefully in her home in Meridian, Idaho, on November 17, 2024, at the age of 72.

She is survived by her four children: Mark Sumrall, Jennifer Gibbs, Hollie Roberts, and Hillary Duncan Reed; her nine beloved grandchildren: Harrison Nicholls Sumrall, Blake Roberts, Aaron Gibbs, Seth Roberts, Hanna Roberts, Connor Gibbs, Aubrey Gibbs, Trenton Duncan, and Wyatt Reed; and her former husband, Stephen Sumrall. Patricia's life was a testament to love, dedication, and faith.

She lived a life filled with purpose and kindness. As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she found joy and strength in studying the word of God. Her unwavering faith and generous spirit left an indelible mark on her family, friends, and community.

A dedicated mother, Patricia raised her children with love, wisdom, and guidance. She was a faithful friend and gracious neighbor, always offering her time, support, and care to those around her. Her talents were boundless: she was an amazing teacher, a master gardener, and gifted in crafts, sewing, and quilting. Patricia's culinary creations brought joy to many, as she was a wonderful baker and cook.

Patricia also had a distinguished career in nursing, exemplifying compassion, expertise, and commitment. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees, achieving excellence in her field. Through her knowledge, skill, and genuine care for others, Patricia brought comfort and healing to countless patients. Her dedication to her profession reflected her boundless love for humanity and her desire to serve.

Her creativity and passion enriched the lives of those who knew her, and her impact for good will remain cherished in the hearts of all she touched.

Patricia's legacy is one of love, kindness, and devotion. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by her family and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
